Lacking suitable connectors

I bought a pack of ten for cable drive tramway I am building. These rails arrived very quickly and in good condition. I also bought the p037 track connectors. Unfortunately they are not compatible with the track. The base width of the track is 0.5 mm where as the connector need a track with a base width of 1mm as per the tgauge flexitrack.
These incompatibilities in tgauge track types need to be made clear to anyone wanting to start modeling in tgauge.
